We have also been talking about the way living things prepare for winter.
After lots of exciting Halloween activities, we explored a technique commonly used in India during Diwali to create a tree in one of the seasons. First, we cut out and glued a tree to our page. Then, we drew details on and around our tree to show which season we had chosen. And then we glued on coloured salt (as with the popular Diwali tradition of making designs using coloured sand). We got some beautiful results!
